Swarts reaction

This reaction involves the conversion of [alkyl chloride , alkyl bromide] to [alkyl fluoride].

The specific reaction demonstrated here is of the conversion of [trichlorotoluene] to [benzotrifluoride] using catalyst [\ce{ SbF3 or HF }].

It is significant in that [the only way to make alkyl fluorides (in ncert) without diazonium salts.]
